Quote for home insurance was 3x more than i pay now...what a joke.
Was referred through Costco for home insurance; had an unusual home to insure and other companies either didn't want to be bothered or had a huge premium that was completely disconnected from value and risk. Broker's quote ended up being less than half what I had been quoted before and much closer to what I had been expecting in light of the property value + bonus was that there was a large jewelry theft coverage that was included (10x the size of other insurance policies I had seen). So quite happy!
Not competitive at all. And the app to get 25% off is a joke (just read comments), you won't get it.
