Not much to do for younger kids, but for older kids there are a lot of activities, like trying to maneuver a space chair. The tour of the shuttle was all lecture and kids were hugely dissapointed they couldn't touch and turn any of equipment inside. It should be more interactive, considering there is a separate charge to see inside the shuttle.
A great place for children to learn about space and astronauts. We did a mission + visit at the exposition and it was fun and educational for the kids.
