First of all, great service and knowledgable staff. The food was to die for! We chose some things from the menu and some were recommended by our waiter. He recommended the Lamb in cherry sauce which turned out to be delicious! Will definitely be going again and again!
This is a place for a good time. The decor is nice. The atmosphere is family style where you sit down and talk alot. Food is meant to be shared. The bread was amazing. I kept on taking pieces even though it's bad for you. The cheese baked goods is also awesome. There's also Syrian hard alcohol as well. The grill is done on a charcoal. We skipped the salad and was well stuffed. I truly had a good time.
Best Syrian Restaurant By Far. Amazing our grandma Aleppo food in our lovely home Montreal. Very tasty meat, appetizer and sweet.Thanks to Mr. Abdel Maseeh for his pro service which made the lunch not only tasty but also enjoyable :)
I don't like being told what is the minimum tip. I paid a 10% yet they asked me to pay another 5% because 15% is the minimum they accept. Are you kidding me! My bill was 400 we were 8. I though 40$ (10%) is enough for there poor service yet the guy asked me to pay at least 15% because that's the minimum they accept. To avoid the argument I gave him the extra 5%. But will never go back.
The food, music and ambience were amazing here! We went Friday night when they had a live Oud player who got the crowd going. We left happy and full after what was some of the best Syrian/Lebanese food we've had.
