I love Marathons; amazing comfort food for a reasonable pricing. I'm giving it 3 stars because, compared to the Marathons on Decarie, the one in Laval seems lackluster. The service is okay if you're lucky and the food tastes different (less fresh?)than it's sister location.
Best Greek restaurant in Laval. The marathon salad is so good because of their dressing! Everything is good .. although the calamaris aren't good , I don't recommend those. Very strong smell of fish ... But you don't go to places like this for calamari , they're known for their souvlakis and salade. That I definitely recommend. Staff is really nice , service is quick.
Sorry to say. The last few times we attended the restaurant. We had more negative than positive aspects to say. A few days ago, the young female hostess, was insisting to sit us at a specific table. When we requested a different table. She was putting up a fuss. That was our greeting !The service is great as always. All the waiters know their jobs well. We took the Gyro pitas platter. The tatsiki sauce is watery, which soaked our pita. The rice is now tasteless, and cold. The salad is good. So, no it'll be a while before we go back. If we do.
I really love this place. They serve really great food, that really hits the spot. I love their Marathon salad and their gyros. The portions are pretty big so have that in mind. I would like to see maybe a little more variation in the menu maybe have specials or seasonal items. Overall, really like this place and will surely keep visiting when I'm craving Greek food.
I love this restaurant for the good food and the portions sizes, for the price paid. Service is quick and the personnel is nice. Only downside is that sometimes can be difficult to find a free parking spot.
