Front desk is extremely rude and let you know from the beginning that they don't want you to disturb them when they're making fun of clients inside the gym. Went there to sign up, and they made me wait 10min while they were laughing about people as if i couldn't here them. I ran away as fast as i could, just like anybody should ...
I'm going to say the truth about this gym. This happened a month ago recently, i wanted to try to have a personal trainer at World Gym laval and then I decided to cancel the contract within 36 days from the starting date of the contract (10% of the whole contract time). Now, according to the Consumer protection act, the gym can ONLY make you pay a 10% penalty fee for canceling the personal trainer contract (see article 203 of consumer protection act). HOWEVER, the manager of that gym wanted to charge me, NOT ONLY the 10% fee, BUT ALSO the SERVICE FEE (which was for the 10days I used with the trainer, and she did (whole contract value /total number of times i was suppose to go X 10). At the end of the day, she wanted to charge me about 660$ of service fees + the 10% of 330$ which is against the LAW. So this gym, is abusing every clients by NOT following the LAW correctly. They are basically lying to clients to scare them from canceling their contract within 36days. They should get a penalty for doing this. I do not recommend this gym. I would put zero stars if possible.
Worst gym in this whole city. Incompetent and impolite coaches. On top of that, they try to convince you to pay over 2400$ for 4 months of private coaching and resent you if you refuse. Plus, they have hidden fees so its not really 10$/month like advertised. The clientele is classless, and this place is always packed. And above that, when a machine breaks down, they dont fix it. Do not go there trust me.The only positive part about this place is the cleaning ladies. They are the most hardworking women out there and they never complain. Big thumbs up for these women.

Great gym with a variety of equipment and services (weight, crossfit, group class, pool, sauna, etc). The staff really make the success of the place. Great leadership team (Irene and Andrea are always cheerful and welcoming). Great selection of personal trainers! Marina is an inspiring and dedicated coach, a shinning star!
