Worst after sales service I have ever experienced, and have bought items from Maison Corbeil and JC Perrault - do not waste your time with these people. Ordered a custom 2.5K + dining table, waited over 2 months to receive it and it arrives damaged so unable to install and had to return. Tried to get in touch with sales rep and customer service and ignored for over 1 month, before they finally told us they need to make a new one and we need to wait another 8 weeks. They also sold us a damaged brand new LG fridge - also 2.5K +, which needed a service repair after just 3 weeks. Also ignored for over 2 weeks and now refusing to take it back, when we spent 10K on appliances there. They are so unprofessional, incompetent and don't care about you as a customer the second you pay and walk out the door. Oh they tried to compensate us with a $100 gift card we have yet to receive, stay away from this store!
My sister bought a sofa at the store in Laval. The delivery came yesterday and the the legs were missing. The delivery guy called the warehouse and they said that it would take 4 weeks for them to receive the legs. She asked for the order to be cancelled which they agreed to do. She got a call from the Head of CSR a guy named Daniel who threatened her on the phone and said "I know where you live and I will keep calling and even come knock on your door until you take the sofa and pay for it". She called the cops to file a harassment charge against him.Do not buy anything with this company and please do not provide them your personal information.
DAMAGED FLOORS AND FORNITURE After waiting 3 months for the delivery of a table, the delivery men damaged the table while assembling it! The solution, wait another 3 months for a new table to be delivered! To add insult to injury, they also badly damaged our brand new wood floors! They walked all over with their construction boots damaging several parts of our floor. They could have placed clean covers prior walking into the house. They only brought and disorderly placed two small covers because I asked them to. They also made a huge mess while opening the box leaving endless little pieces foam and cardboard all over!My advice: Make sure to have your floors well protected when the delivery comes and make sure they dont damaged anything while ensembling!
I bought my appliance at Germain and the price, service and delivery was good.The whole thing was ruined by the appliance installer they recommended.He was the worst of the worst!Please never use Vachon!Read the recent reviews and I'm sure more similar ones will come now that we started. I encourage people to write reviews. I didn't write reviews previously, but after this I felt I had to so others won't go through the same issues.Shame on you for not responding after this horrible installation issue.I will never buy anything at GL again!
We ordered a bed from Germain on June 12, 2018. I called to inquire about the delivery date in Aug and was given Aug 23rd as the date it would be ready. Great, so we ordered the mattress and had it delivered for that date and got rid of our old frame. A month and a half later, we still have not received the bed (almost 4 months since we ordered). I also hope we like the mattress because the trial period is elapsing. We have been given 5 delivery dates so far which have not been respected. After sales service and sales associate did not return calls on 3 occasions. I had to call the manufacterer and go to the store in person to get answers. Now that they say the bed is ready and in their inventory, they are making us wait another week for delivery (6th delivery date). I will be shopping for the rest of my furniture elsewhere from now on.
